The Mont Blanc massif is a mountain range that extends in Switzerland and Italy. The highest summit in Europe is visible from far and can be photographed from many different viewpoints... provided the weather is fine. When it is overcast, most of the mountain tops are hidden in the clouds.
The range is dotted with dozens of peaks above 2000m high, among which 17 are above 4000m
A number of glaciers are visible on the sides of the range.
