The apostles at Notre Dame

These characters are on the sides of the doors of Notre Dame. I am not 100% sure but I think these are the apostles of Jesus. There are 6 of them on either side. Other famous sculptures on Notre Dame's fronton include the gallery of kings but they are far above the doors.
