Located in the Western part of Picardie, the baie de Somme is one of the largest bays in France, with the baie du Mont Saint Michel and the baie de l'Aiguillon. It is a land of immense skies inhabited by lots of birds, a few sheep and a small group of seals. The latter can be seen in the distance at low tide and occasionally pay a visit to some of the harbors or to bathing tourists.
The bay offers lots of photo opportunities to visitors as the small towns around are picturesque and the countryside offers a variety of landscapes. Some beaches face West enabling good sunset shots.
