The seaside resort of Cayeux sur Mer has quite a few things to offer. Its nice seafront has one of the longest boardwalks in Europe and picturesque beach cabins. At low tide, the shingle beach unveils its soft sand. On its northern side, a sand dune leads to the Hourdel area, while its southern side is bordered by the Hable d'Ault, a marshy area, home to more than 200 species of birds, and scores of hunting huts. The town hosts some of the events during the April Birds and Nature festival.
