Equestrian statue of Louis of Orleans
Caption
This equestrian statue of Louis of Orleans is located near external stairs in the castle courtyard. The rebuilding of the castle in the 19th century was taken in 1862. At first, Viollet le Duc only wanted to preserve its romantic ruins. It is now one of the best preserved castles in France, though its style is probably a bit far from the original one.
